Paint your face green and gold and head to Commonwealth Stadium, home of the Edmonton Eskimos. This CFL team has won the coveted Grey Cup trophy 13 times! Will 2015 be the year that they go for round 14? To find out, head over to Commonwealth and cheer the Eskies towards the 103rd Grey Cup in Winnipeg at these home games:

Both athletes and fans hearts will race as competitors from around the world peddle, run, and swim across Edmonton from Hawrelak Park to the River Valley as part of the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final. From August 26 – September 1, watch as these athletes compete for the title of world champion after already competing in other top-tier destinations such as London, Cape Town, Stockholm, and Auckland. Edmonton represents the last leg of their long and demanding journey. Support and celebrate their efforts at events like these ones:

August 26 –– Aquathlon (Watch as athletes compete in the water and afterwards, dash into a race on land!)

August 28 –– Opening Ceremonies and Parade of Nations

August 29 –– Age Group Sprint Championship

You might not have made it to the World Cup in Brazil this summer, but FIFA games are actually a lot closer than you think this August. The FIFA women’s U-20 games are taking place across Canada, including our great city of Edmonton.
