3. MAESTRO | Oct 4 | 7:30 pm
Catch the first showing of this new high-stakes format from Rapid Fire Theatre! Eleven improvisers will compete for audience approval in a game of elimination. And now audience members can join in on the improvised fun: add your name to a hat for your chance to have it drawn and join the cast on stage!

4. Edmonton Oktoberfest | Oct 3-4
This is the first large-scale Oktoberfest celebration in the city, celebrating the local community and, of course, beer! Sample a variety of Oktoberfest brews from Germany and local Edmonton microbreweries. There will be live music—including an authentic Oompah band—to set the tone, and great German and international food to sample. After all, what goes better with beer than a salted pretzel?

7. Andrea Martin | Oct 5 | 7:30 pm
The very funny, Emmy and Tony award winning comedian hasn’t performed in Edmonton since her days filming SCTV. Her Final Days! Everything Must Go! tour marks her return to the stage in Western Canada with a routine full of stories, songs, and comedy. Martin will sing classic Broadway songs, perform comedy routines and characters like “Edith Prickley” and “Grandma Berthe”, and share stories about SCTV, her life, her career, and her famous Hollywood pals.
