We Edmontonians are lucky to have a vibrant, thriving food scene… and that includes our many food trucks! Whether it’s a hearty lunch, fresh smoothie, or a unique dessert that you’re craving, it’s easy to find something you’ll wheel-y enjoy.

1) Drift
They’re one of Edmonton’s favourite food trucks for a reason—since 2011, Drift has been serving up specially-curated menus of global-inspired lunches all around Edmonton with the help of their trusty truck, ‘Drifty’. Drift’s menu changes with the seasons, so there’s always something fresh and new on offer. When food truck season ends, you can find them at their concession stand in the Shamrock Curling Club.

2) CURBSIDE
There’s no chance of feeling hungry once CURBSIDE rolls in. Their specialty is mouthwatering, filling lunches, from their slow-cooked pork and brisket to their fish tacos, and that’s before you can even get to the oodles of options for side dishes. Pair your meal with their ginger or cranberry spritzers for a lunch to remember.

3) Guilt Free Eats
Plant-based, gluten-free options don’t have to stop at just salads! Guilt Free Eats serves up hot, hearty meals like chili, Buddha bowls, stir-fries, and a variety of soups. If you’re looking for something lighter, try one of their smoothies or their trail mix.

4) A Street Food Named Desire
You can’t go wrong with the classics! For loaded hot dogs, poutine, onion rings, french fries, perogies, and more, this delightfully-named food truck is a sure bet. You can catch A Street Food Named Desire along Whyte Avenue, at Rundle Park, and at other hotspots around the city.

5) Scoop n’ Roll Creamery
Sure, ice cream trucks are nothing new, but have you ever had your ice cream rolled? Choose your flavour of handmade ice cream (including many tasty vegan options), pick your mix-ins, and watch as your ice cream is scooped and rolled right before your eyes.

You can find these and many, many more incredible food trucks around Edmonton all spring and summer long! Upcoming events featuring food trucks include the Free Wheelin’ Food Truck Fest, taking place on May 7th from 3 pm–8 pm at Kingsway Mall, as well as the Root 107 Pop-Up Park that’s opened near Jasper Avenue. And, of course, you can watch for plenty of delicious dining options coming to a street curb near you!
