1. Rust Magic Street Mural Festival | September 1 – 4

2. ITU World Triathlon Series | September 2 – 4
The city will again play host to the ITU World Triathlon Series as the penultimate stop before the final. Witness elite athletes run, swim, and cycle with all of their heart!

3. SONiC BOOM Festival | September 3 & 4

4. Kaleido Family Arts Festival | September 9 – 11

6. Western Canada Fashion Week | September 15 – 24
Over 50 local and international designers showcase their latest and most innovative designs on the runway and highlight the season’s hottest trends. 7. FISE World Series | September 16 – 18
At this free extreme sports event, international athletes will descend on Hawrelak Park in a challenging program of mountain bike, BMX, and skateboard competitions.

8. Fruit Growers’ Festival | September 18
Learn all about the challenges and delights of fruit growing in Alberta with a talk from the Fruit Growers’ Association and sample some fresh-picked fruits grown in the garden and some fruit wine from Barr Estate Winery.

9. Visualeyez Festival of Performance Art | September 19 – 24

10. Dreamspeakers Film Festival | September 23 – 29

11. Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo | September 23 – 25

13. Edmonton International Film Festival | September 29 – October 8

14. Edmonton Oktoberfest | September 30 – October 1
