Terry Fox: Running to the Heart of Canada

About: Thirty-eight years ago on Sept. 1, 1980, Terry Fox was forced to stop his Marathon of Hope when cancer had spread into his lungs. This exhibition tells the story of his 143-day, 5,373-km journey by exploring Fox’s enduring impact on modern Canadian life. The exhibit features maps, photographs, letters, and other memorabilia that present the heartbreaking and thrilling story of Fox’s legacy.
