1. K-Days | July 19–28
Enjoy the K-Days kick-off parade on the first week of this huge annual event. The music lineup this weekend will be featuring Calling All Captains and the Offspring on Friday, Dillon Francis, Swede Dreams, and Lost Kings on Saturday, and on Sunday the Baby Shark Guinness World Record Setting, Lyrique, Jul Mouraine & Jul Lil Mosey. And check out the CN100 Moving Celebration, an immersive exhibit where you can discover the history of CN.

2. Taste of Edmonton | July 18–28
Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, this 11-day food festival starts this weekend. There will be 92 food samples to choose from, 30 Canadian artists will be giving performances every night, and a wine and beer garden offering a wide selection of craft beers, wine, and ciders.

3. Slash | July 20
Guns and Roses band mate Slash is in Edmonton to rock out with his signature riffing and electrifying lyrics. The show starts at 6:30 pm with tickets starting at $59.

4. Shockerfest | July 20
Things are about to get heavy (metal) at this hardcore festival featuring 20 bands, 2 stages, and 12 hours of non-stop music. Tickets are $25 with the event taking place at the Starlite Room.

5. Ali Siddiq | July 18–21
Come out and laugh with this outrageously funny, jail bird comedian. Ali Siddiq recently attended the world famous Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and now he’s here in Edmonton to perform for you at the Comic Strip in West Edmonton Mall.
