This zany British comedian knows how to captivate an audience with his absurd monologues and comical narratives — he’s the first stand-up comedian to play a solo show at the Hollywood Bowl, and has performed in front of a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden. 3. Die-Nasty Soap Opera Improv: 700th Episode!
An Edmonton comedy institution for over two decades, the Canadian Comedy Award-winning improv comedy soap opera Die-Nasty will reach its 700th Episode on Monday, November 25th, 2013! Running weekly since 1991, Die-Nasty has featured some of Canada’s top improvisors and such diverse settings as 1930’s Hollywood, Ancient Rome, the Middle Ages, Prohibition-era Windy City, and Tennessee Williams New Orleans. This season, Die-Nasty sets its usual mix of love, betrayal, and intrigue against the backdrop of class-conscious Edwardian England, in the tradition of Upstairs, Downstairs and Downton Abbey.
