1. Kick Off to Summer | May 16
Meet local, handy crafters at Vacancy Hall — a pop-up retail space for local artists in the Mercer Building — as they show off their wares and talents!

2. Downtown Farmers’ Market | May 16
The City Market on 104 St. moves outside this Saturday! Welcome in spring as you shop for fresh veggies, handmade crafts, and other local goods in the sunshine.

3. Dinosaurs Unearthed
Check out the recently opened Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit at TELUS World of Science—Edmonton! Immerse yourself in the age of dinosaurs as you come up close to life-sized dinosaurs handcrafted by a creative team of paleo-artists. You’ll also test your fossil-finding skills as you learn about all of the exciting discoveries paleontologists have made in recent years.

4. Stars on Ice | May 16
The 2014 edition of this annual showcase of top figure skating talents features 2014 Olympic silver medalist Patrick Chan, 2014 Olympic silver medalists Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, and 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Joannie Rochette.

5. Global Visions Film Festival | Through May 18
