Want a front row seat to the action? Make sure to head down to the ICE District Plaza from January 24 to 26 to see these artists at work. They’ll be using chainsaws and chisels to shape 300lb ice blocks into magnificent works of art. You can also vote for your favourite sculpture at the Chiseled website, starting on January 27.

If you miss out on attending Chiseled, don’t despair! The completed sculptures will remain in the ICE District Plaza after the festival is completed. Ice on Whyte/Activate Arts Alberta will also be hosting ice carving demonstrations and more in Dr. Wilbert McIntrye Park from January 27 to 29. You can peruse the sculpture garden created by local carvers or try your hand at the art form with a Chippers class!
