It is hard to miss Hoang Long’s beautiful 109th street restaurant. Nestled along the same street as Edmonton favourites La Carraia Gelato and Cinnaholic (also another Taste of Edmonton 2022 vendor!), this Thai and Vietnamese restaurant boasts high ceilings, beautiful décor, and tons of natural light.
Hoang Long’s Edmonton roots run deep and the opening of their downtown location in 2013 was a welcome addition to the community. For lunch and dinner, they offer traditional Vietnamese & Thai food using fresh and fragrant ingredients. If you are downtown on a rainy day, take your pick from their ramen selection. Or, if you are looking for something a little lighter, create your own vermicelli bowl!
But serving tasty dishes isn’t the only thing that is important to Hoang Long’s owners. For many years, David Vu and Cecilia Hoang have provided free food to those in need on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. By providing meals for people having a difficult time, Hoang Long’s owners continually send a message of support and hope to their community members.
At Taste of Edmonton, they will be offering Green Papaya Salad, Lemongrass Beef Skewers, and Pulled Pork Steamed Buns. So make sure to stop by booth 36 to sample the best that Hoang Long has to offer!
