January 8 is the last night to visit the giant holiday tree in Churchill Square! For every photo of it shared using #YEGLightUp, the DBA will donate $5 to the Edmonton Food Bank.
Buckle up for some winter fun this weekend! Here are some recommendations for ways to have an end-of-the-week blast, whatever your tastes may be.
1) Final weekend of Magic of Lights | till Jan 9
Rev up the engine to cruise down this display of pure holiday cheer. Magic of Lights features more than one million LED lights in its annual celebration of the season. Experience themed and animated light displays, before a more than a 200-foot light tunnel for you and your family to coast down. Christmas radio has never been more appreciated!
2) Final night of Downtown Holiday Light Up | Jan 8
The Downtown Holiday Light Up incorporates seven outdoor light installations imagined and executed by local artists! Check out the DBA’s downloadable tour map and snap a selfie using their hashtag, #YEGLightUp! 3) Skiing, skating, and tobogganing!
Lace up your skates and head to one of Edmonton’s many outdoor skating rinks, hit the slopes and carve up some fresh snow, or just trek the great outdoors! Check out our ideas for winter fun in and around Edmonton.
4) Legislature Lights Segway | dates available throughout Jan
