Snow Way OuT | Ongoing

Explore a snow maze in the ICE District’s Fan Park, right next to Rogers Place! The maze will be Oilers themed, with tons of photo opportunities. Although the maze is closed on the 25th, you can still check it out on the 24th or the 26th from 12:00pm–8:00pm. Make sure to also visit the ICE District’s newly launched skating rink.

A very indigenous holiday market | December 23

Get all your last minute shopping done at the Downtown Farmers’ Market thanks to I.A.M Collective! Featuring Indigenous artists and makers, this market will offer tons of unique gifts for everyone on your list. Runs 11:00am–5:00pm.

Luminaria | Until December 31

The University of Alberta’s winter festival has been capturing our hearts for many years! Stroll through beautiful light pathways and explore unique winter moments. This is the festival’s final year so make sure to check it out while you can!

A lightly classical Christmas | December 23

The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra is bringing all your favourite Christmas tunes to life this weekend! Including classics like Ave Maria and O Holy Night. this event is bound to fill guest with a festive spirit.

Candy Cane Lane | Until January 1

Started by a few Crestwood families in the late 1960s, these holiday light displays are a staple for Edmonton’s festive season! Enjoy fire pits, sleigh rides, and food trucks, while you stroll the street and take in all the holiday cheer. They are hosting car free nights on December 23.
