DJ Dance Party @ The Backyard | October 7
Join The Backyard & Mikey Wong this Friday to support the Edmonton Food Bank! They are collecting monetary donations to help provide Thanksgiving dinners to those in need. Horror fans, this one’s for you. Fort Edmonton Park’s DARK is back for another year of haunting! Featuring killer clowns, murderous farmers, and demonic spirits, this event is not for the faint of heart. You can also catch Dead Centre of Town XIII, a play that uncovers Edmonton long forgotten spiritual past. Specialty cocktails, local food trucks, and spooky tunes round out this event, making it a essential on your Halloween activity roster!
The Wolves | October 8 – 30
Live theatre is in full swing and we love to see it! Check out the first show in The Citadel Theatre’s 2022/23 Highwire series. Following a U17 soccer team, this play explores the lives of 9 teenagers as they prepare for high pressure games and navigate the tumultuous process of growing up.
Jim Logan’s Some People Feel What Some People Don’t | October 8 – 19
Bearclaw Gallery is is excited to present the latest works of Indigenous artist Jim Logan. Some People Feel What Some People Don’t is a collection that involves a variety of subjects within Indigenous communities. These painting will spark a variety of emotions in viewers, further underlining the magic of art. Logan will be in attendance at Bearclaw on October 8 from 1:00 – 4:00.
