Pro Coro Canada, under the baton of guest-conductor of Kari Turunen, Vancouver Chamber Choir’s Artistic Director, presents Good Friday with Pro Coro Canada at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 7th, at Robertson-Wesley United Church (10209 123 St NW) as well as live-streamed through ProCoroTV (tv.procoro.ca). Join Pro Coro Canada, and organist Tammy-Jo Mortensen, for the annual Good Friday concert as the ensemble commemorates the Passion of Christ with choral music spanning over 250 years. This performance will feature works by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, Swedish composer Sven-David Sandström, Latvian composer Ugis Praulins, Italian nobleman and composer Carlo Gesualdo, and one of the most performed living composers, Estonian Arvo Pärt.
