Event Navigation
It’s a long, hot, and lonely summer for Martine. Home alone during the day, this 15-year-old teen passes time by chatting with the ghosts she sees in the blind spots of her glasses. She also daydreams about her neighbour, Gilbert Marcel, an optometrist with a model family and an outdoor pool. Martine is madly in love with him, but will she be able to get noticed by Gilbert and profess her love? This quirky and comedic play takes us through a very important summer in the life of this young woman who wants nothing more than to be loved.
