“On January 15th of this year, a good friend passed away and it was hard. I didn’t tell anyone of my sorrow, I just started to paint. I put all my effort into doing the thing I love most. I noticed how different these works were, how my painting had changed. I believe that this experience was truly a gift, as the work seemed to flow through me with little effort. I feel blessed to have painted these paintings in this way.” –Linus Woods
