The Union Bank of Canada was built in 1911 and was one of over 10 banks along Jasper Avenue between 100 St. & 101 St. This is the last remaining bank building of the pre-1914 era left in the area. Now a boutique hotel, it was honoured with a Historic Designation Award.

The Union Bank Inn is well known for its luxury and elegance, which is amplified by the exceptional fine dining experience at Madison’s Grill. The menu consists of a combination of classy yet casual fare, making this downtown restaurant the perfect spot for any meal—or even just to enjoy a quiet cocktail. Favourites include the hand-rolled Pappardelle pasta with wild mushrooms and fresh herbs, and the 6-oz Beef Wellington with coffee crusted carrot and butter pomme puree. Weekend brunch is now available!

This downtown boutique hotel offers the ultimate service, decor, and amenities. Guest rooms offer fireplaces, in-room safes, and complimentary wi-fi—and every stay includes an evening Wine & Cheese and a la carte breakfast in Madison’s Grill. Staycation and Fall packages are now available for booking, with options to upgrade your stay to include Prosecco & Chocolate Truffles, a Six-Course Tasting Menu with Wine Pairings, or other enhancements!

The Union Bank Inn is conveniently located right on Jasper Avenue, which shortens a downtown commute considerably and means most amenities are within walking distance.
