Elk Island National Park
Canada's first federal wildlife sanctuary, established in 1906, is home to bison, elk, moose, deer, lynx, and more than 250 species of birds. Besides wildlife viewing, visitors can enjoy activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking, and tobogganing. Open year-round; facilities open seasonally.
