April Signature Artists for the Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts are artists: Liliya Kostiuk, Liudmyla Lushchyk & Taras Lachowsky.
A principal theme in Liliya’s work is nature and architecture and occasionally modern art.
This exhibit is Taras’ way of trying to record, understand, and make sense of something his parents experienced and now asks if war is something Ukrainians of every generation must endure.
This is the exhibit that that has come from this emotional wreckage, journey, and nightmare.
